The “Prospection & Perspective” project is part of a deliberately dynamic campaign to support the best in ceramic creation in Europe, which has chosen the path of assertive contemporary aesthetics. This new, international initiative will be proactive in the face of the difficulties encountered by some artists who have chosen this means of expression.

The “Prospection & Perspective” project aims first of all to hold regular events to identify and publicise these creative talents – ceramic artists, visual artists and designers. It then intends to use communication tools to offer them greater visibility and, as a result, recognition and new resources.

The initiative will take place in ambitious exhibition venues that can offer real logistical support, places that can organise discussion and implementation, and can also create a positive contact with the world of contemporary art and help people to gain a better understanding of the mechanisms and challenges of an art market in which those involved (collectors, critics, gallery owners and institutions) are ever more impatient and demanding.

Exhibited artists : Marc Alberghina (France), Jean-Gabriel Cruz (Switzerland), Marianne Eggimann (Switzerland), Bean Finneran (United-States), Patricia Glave (Switzerland), Anders Ruhwald (Denmark), Kim Simonsson (Finland), Clémence van Lunen (France).
